This 15th-century construction straddles the river Almonte, in Jaraicejo
Beside the village of Jaraicejo, set in a singular enclave, we find the bridge over the river Almonte, constructed in the 15th century by order of the bishop of Plasencia, Gutiérrez de Carvajal, and restructured in the age of Philip IV. It is a narrow masonry construction with nine arches and a large stirrup. In it you can see a small temple with Gothic niches. It was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1991.
